Overview of FY25 ESEA Application
The application is organized into projects. We have one project (brief description below). We received less funds this year because the state changed the way they allocate Title 1 funds and only count those students whose families are on Direct Certification (TANF, Snap, EBT) rather than those who qualify for Free and/or Reduced Rates for nutrition programs.
Project – School Wide Program |
Goals # 1& 2 – To increase literacy and mathematics achievement as demonstrated by ME Through Year scores from spring 2024 – spring 2025. Funds go into the schoolwide project to pay for professional development, training, salaries for the after-school program, and some materials/supplies. Goal #3 to decrease chronic absenteeism rates. Our rate for 23-24 was 35.48%, which is incredibly high. |
Total — $26,311.47 |
The FY 25 ESEA Application Public Survey is open from June 28 through July 10, 2024. This survey is created so that you are able to share your thoughts about the application goals and priorities. All feedback will be taken into consideration before it is submitted to MDOE for final approval.
